I refuse to be unthankful,
for giving of thanks is God’s way.

I know that thanking Him is a “force,”
in order to see victory when and after I pray.

Thank God in the midst of things happening,
no matter how difficult they are or how dark.

Think of prayer as spiritual dynamite,
with thanksgiving being the necessary spark.

You’re thanking the Lord that He’s involved,
though circumstances may say He’s distant.

He’s a very present help in trouble…
Thanking God makes faith stable and consistent!

“No, never thank God,” the devil counters…
“Can’t you see how badly things are going?”

Shut the door on those remarks and,
instead, praise God–His goodness and mercy are overflowing!

Every gathering of Christians should include
steadfast thanks to God for all that He’s done.

We shouldn’t highlight Thanksgiving only in November…
but always–we’re blessed by our covenant with God through His Son.
