The poetry on this Porch is written to reflect the author’s thoughts about various Biblical texts and topics.  At times, a poem may be written as if the Lord was speaking to you, the reader, (and/or the writer).  But such poems, of course, are simply reflections of what the writer perceives that the Lord might want to convey by the author’s own studies of the Scriptures.

Many of the poems have scripture references listed.  Most often they are from the New American Standard Version or the New King James Version of the Bible.  If they are from another version, that will be noted.
