“Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” John 20:19 NKJV
Jesus came and stood in the midst of His disciples after He’d been raised from the dead.
He’s in our midst today, the eternal Prince of Peace–for us, His blood was shed.
Our Shepherd laid down His life for the sheep. He’s the chief cornerstone and our rock.
We praise God for what His Son has done and that we’re part of His blessed flock.
Nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In the midst of troubled times, He’s the mighty fortress, who, with trust, we always look toward.
