“I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord.’”
Psalm 122:1
“Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;
And let them say among the nations, ‘The Lord reigns.’”
1 Chronicles 16:31
“…Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’ When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
So Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.’”
John 20:19-21
(Scriptures NKJV)
The joy of the Lord to you today…I couldn’t help but think of His “glad” flowers, as well. I read that the name, gladiolus, comes from Latin and Greek words, meaning sword, which can remind of the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God…Ephesians 6:17.
Have a blessed day!
