I thank the Lord, for my answer to prayer–
for His encouraging words and His goodness to me.
I believe I received when I prayed,
so that result, I’m expectant to see.

Far be it from us to disagree
with Almighty God and His promises that we see,
written for His children in His Holy Word.
Of His faithfulness to keep them, we can rest assured.
