Like a fine diamond falling down from the sky…

is each unique snowflake that passes by.

God’s the divine artist behind their design…

Of His creativity, they’re a sure sign.

Children especially love it when He sends them down…

Usually they come softly, without a sound.

But then we hear the children out at play,

rejoicing and shouting that “It’s snowing today!”

It’s a picture of sparkling beauty in the moonlight’s glow…

when the ground has been covered with a blanket of snow.

Snowflakes have been captured with a camera lens…

the little fine diamonds that our Creator sends.

...the poem, above, was written to showcase the beauty in a snowflake’s design, pointing to the Lord, and the joys many of us recall of the enjoyment of snow as children, or even for those who ski or simply love its beauty…
