An Important Daily Prescription

At times, people may need and are thankful for a round of antibiotics…but it’s always beneficial to double up on what could be called our Wordbiotics. To be faithful to take them regularly will build us up….

Proverbs 4:20-24

My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.

Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;

For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.

Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.

Put away from you a deceitful mouth,
And put perverse lips far from you.

Jesus said:

“…  ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” …from Matthew 4:4

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11 KJV

(As Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin of http://www.rhema.org has shared, the above verse does not refer to our resurrected bodies in the future. Our bodies are mortal now. (“Mortal” means subject to death or doomed to die.) The Spirit of God dwells in a believer’s body now. Now is when we need our mortal bodies quickened by God’s indwelling Spirit.)

 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

“This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your word has revived me and given me life.” Psalm 119:50 AMP
