“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23

I know of a wonderful church, called “the Living Word”…
which is a name wisely chosen, for that name has referred
to the victorious word of God, for IT IS ALIVE,
and powerful over the evil attacks with which we often strive.

Through the Holy Spirit, God’s Word teaches us to be wise,
so that we’ll always want to do what’s right in the Father’s eyes.
And when decreed from our lips, and coming from the heart,
it’s a LIVING Sword of the Spirit, which causes demons to depart.
P. A. Oltrogge
“Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints….” Ephesians 6:10-18
“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:15-17
“For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.” words of Jesus in Matthew 12:34-35
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” James 4:7-8
“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14

As believers, we stay with the Word, even when results may not be realized instantly….
“Speaking the Word does three things–it renews your mind, causes faith to come, and sets the law of faith in motion.” (A quote from Charles Capps, who challenged believers to confess what God has promised in His Word.)
