Today, I join with you all in praying for the wounded of last night’s tragic event in Waukesha, Wisconsin–for the families of those who lost loved ones in such a terrible way, and in praying for those who despite the shock, helped, as good Samaritans–people right there at the scene, police, emergency medics, and nurses and doctors who were available last night and are still working today…
Dear God, we ask for Your hand of healing, both physically and emotionally, for those who have been harmed by this evil. We ask that You be, according to Your Word, their and our stronghold in these times, we pray, and we thank You for this…in Jesus, Your Son’s name. Amen
“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” Psalm 9:9 NIV
I don’t want to let this demon-inspired act prevent me from recommending a thanksgiving message from yesterday at Eagle Mountain International Church at http://www.emic.org on the benefits of thanking God in our daily lives. Just go to “Latest Service” on the lower right-hand side on the site. If you can’t watch everything, scroll in to 54:00 for the message. Towards the end of the service, there are some wonderful testimonies of healing.
