It’s my hope that a visit to the Porch of the Lord may sometimes come to mind
when you’ve had a rough day or, perhaps, when someone’s been unkind.

Or, then again, that you may think to go there for an encouraging start
on any given new day, seeking the Lord, heart to heart.

The best thing about it are the Lord’s words quoted there.
May you see and hear Him talking with you, while you’re resting
in a Porch chair.

P. A. Oltrogge

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Matthew 11:27-29 NASB
