Prophecies and fulfillment (Old and New Testaments) on the birth and life of Jesus Christ
In (Genesis 12:3 and 22:18) the Lord told Abraham that by His design,
the blessing of the Messiah would come from his (Abraham’s) own line. (Matthew 1:1)
The Messiah’s mother would be a virgin–Immanuel, He’d be called. (Isaiah 7:14)
By an angel in a dream, to Joseph, this was confirmed and recalled. (Matthew 1:18-23)
(Genesis 17:19 and Numbers 24:17) reference Isaac and Jacob, these two–
(Matthew 1:2,16) shows Jesus Christ as a descendent of theirs, so this became true.
(Micah 5:2) prophesies Bethlehem Ephrathah as the town of Jesus’ birth.
(Luke 2:1-7) tells how that came about, making it a place of special worth.
In (Hosea 11:1) is the prophetic, “Out of Egypt, I called My son.”
