“And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables. And He said to those who sold doves, ‘Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!'” John 2:14-16
A scenario in the Bible that definitely brought about the Lord Jesus’ ire,
was finding the sellers and money changers in the temple–they saw His righteous “fire.”
Seeing them selling their animals in His Father’s House, the temple site–
made Him fashion a whip of cords, to drive them all out, to make things right.
Today, at your body, the Spirit’s temple, the devil tries to sell his wares–
of sickness and disease of various types, with a dose of oppression, with its “scares.”
But let the Spirit of the Lord rise up in you–take up Christ’s whip, with righteous fire–drive those devilish attempts out, with your authority in Christ. You’ve been redeemed, and the devil’s a liar.
Then thank the Lord, for your withdrawal from heaven’s treasuries of more-than-enough power–that He’s already met the requirements for your particular healing needs in this hour.

…the above poem is a reflection of what should be our attitude against sickness and disease. While we don’t deny the symptoms we may experience, we do deny their right to stay!
