Something of the Miraculous

One of Jesus’ miracles, of which the Bible makes no mention,
is that He could speak to multitudes, without the microphone’s invention.

Everyone could hear–those in front and those in the back of a crowd.
I’d call that a genuine miracle–that, for all, His voice was sufficiently loud!

Even today, He speaks to multitudes, without any microphone needed–
simply by way of the Holy Spirit, often when His followers have interceded.

So His “voice” is still sufficiently loud, for all to hear it and take heed…
We continue to pray they will respond to Him as Savior, recognizing their need.

P. A. Oltrogge

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes Him who sent me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”
John 5:24 (NASB)
