Sometimes we try to figure things out;
We really should know that’s a precarious route.
God has a plan–He tells us so…
Then why do we act like there’s something He doesn’t know?
God’s THE most able to “do” for you;
The truth is, the LORD always comes through!

Perhaps you’ve felt, at times, that He doesn’t always come through. I’ve had that feeling in the midst of trials, too. But He’s always wanting us to keep our confidence in Him, and there’s reward in that. I always like to remember the story of Joseph in the Old Testament. He had severe trials, but God saw the larger plan/outcome all the time!
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in Him.'” Lamentations 3:22-24 RSV
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart…” Jeremiah 29:11-13 RSV
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.” Isaiah 26:3-4 NLT
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6 NKJV and all of Psalm 23
“The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.” words of Jesus in John 10:10
“May the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 RSV
